ABOUT
Destined Desserts was founded in 2020 at the brink of the pandemic by me, Destiny! I always had a passion for baking and party planning. As I gained more experience and had access to more resources, I chased after the dream even more! I focused solely on custom desserts like cakes, cookies, and specialty cake pops! In 2023, I decided to add coffee catering to my business because I love coffee just as much! As a college student, I worked at a local coffee shop for over four years. I loved meeting new people, developing friendships, and experimenting with new ingredients and flavors! I had a passion for creating and customizing desserts and now coffee!
Growing up my mom always planned the best parties for us. She would bake us a yellow cake with chocolate frosting, and invite my entire family over to celebrate us in our little apartment. I always loved watching extravagant party planning and dessert videos like Cake Boss! I knew at a young age that I wanted to be a baker and create beautiful treats for people!
Growing up in a lower class Puerto Rican family helped shape me into the woman I am today! I believe in being accessible to all and not denying a customer because they can't afford to spend as much as someone else. I couldn't count the number of times we had to cutback or revise our party planning because we weren't the target audience. Here at Destined Desserts & Coffee, everyone is our target audience. Every customer is valued, appreciated, and seen! I believe everyone deserves access to luxury catering and desserts that they've always dreamed of.
